4th July Party Makeup + 20% OFF

Independence day is almost here and its time to celebrate! Today we're showing you how to create a look that's as cute as it is patriotic! Whether you're attending a family bbq, a firework displa, or hosting your own party, this look will be just the thing!

We want a super flawless skin for this look so after applying some Jelly pong Pong All Over Glow to our face we are going in will a full converge foundation. We're using Estee Lauder Diouble Wear and our new Bella&Bear Jaguar Angled Kabuki and we're applying it over the skin, buffing outward for a streak free finish.

To disguise any blemishes or dark areas on the skin we are going to use a concealer. We're taking our Bella&Bear Ocelot Concealer Brush and some Essence Stay All Day Concealer and blending it down and out for a seamless application.

Then, we're going to set our concealer with a translucent powder to keep it in place all day (and night) long. Taking our Bella&Bear Tiger Powder Brush and some ELF Studio HD Powder we are dusting it over the areas where we place our concealer. If you prefer a matte finish to your makeup then go ahead and dust your entire face with this powder.

Let's work on those dazzling eyes! First, were gonna prime them with some Stay Dont Stray by Benefit, to keep out eye makeup in place and to help the colours pop!

Were going to then go in with a matte cream shadow and our Bella&Bear Pampas Cat Brush and just apply it all over the lid right up to the brow bone. This will make even out the skin tone on the eyelid.

Then, taking our Bella&Bear Bornean Bay Cat Brush and a matte taupe shadow we are going to use a windscreen wiper to apply it into the crease of the eye to make it appear larger and more defined. You can build up the colour until you're happy with this.

We then took our Bella&Bear Iromote brush (your Golden Cat concealer brush would also work) and a champagne shimmer shadow and firmly pressed it onto the centre of the lid for a spotlight effect.

Then we used our Bella&Bear Fishing Cat Brush and some more of that matte taupe shadow and we just brushed it along the lower lash line to balance the eyes out.

Now, using our brand new Bella&Bear Serval angled liner brush and a black gel liner - our fave is the ELF Cream Liner - we are creating a long, extended wing along the top lash line and up toward the tail of the brow. Try to keep this thin as we are going to add to it in the next step. Be sure to check our Youtube channel for a vid on how to get the perfect wing.

Now, taking a royal blue liner, we used NYX Gel Liner In 'Samantha' (or use a shadow if you don't have a liner) and our Bella&Bear Caracal Liner Brush we are going to create another line just above our wing, pulling it out to meet at the end. We also went over this blue line with some Collection Glam crystals liner in  'Le Freak'.

For some super long lashes we are using our Bella&Bear Eye&Mighty Curler and we are going to curl the lashes for 20 seconds. This will give some serious lift and fan out the lashes. We then went on to apply a coat of our fave mascara - Benefit They're Real!.

If you want to add something a little extra to the look then do like us and apply some falsies! We took our Bella&Bear Angled Tweezers and some Ardell Demi Wispies Lashes and applied them as close to the lash line as possible.

Now, to frame the eyes, its time to fill in and define those brows! Taking our Bella&Bear Iberian Lynx Brow brush and some ABH DipBrow Pomade we first used the spoolie end to brush the hairs into place and then used the brush end to fill in any gaps in the brows and to define the shape. Gorgeous.

Let's add a little colour back into the face using our fave bronzer, Hoola by Benefit. Taking our Bella&Bear Bobcat Angled Blush Brush we dusted some of the bronzer over the hollows of the cheeks and around the temples.

We also wanted to add some highlight to the skin for a radiant look so we took a peachy champagne hue highlight - we used IHeartMakeup Blushing Hearts in IcedHearts and dusted it onto the cheekbones, the tip of the nose and the cupids bow with our Bella&Bear Cheetah Duo Fiber Powder Brush. We also applied a white highlight to the brow bone and inner corners of the eyes with our Bella&Bear Leopard Cat Pencil Brush.

You know we're gonna need a pout as red as the stripes on Old Glory, so we are first going to line the lips with Rimmels 1000 Kisses lip pencil in 'Red Dynamite', and we are then using our Bella&Bear Rusty Spotted Cat Lip Brush to fill in the lips with LimeCrimes Velvetine in 'Wicked' - a matte finish liquid lipstick which lasts all day. Using our brush will ensure a precise and clean application with no bleeding!

And, as a finishing touch we are going to to use some white glitter stars and we are going to create a design with them just above the brow bone, using lash glue and our Bella&Bear Pointed Tweezers to stick them into place. They look so cute and really give the look a patriotic feel!

To keep everything in place we are using our fave setting spray - Makeup Revolution Oil Control Fixing Spray - and we are liberally spritzing the face with it. We also popped on our fave silver wig to really make those colours pop, you can find it here!
