Spring Sweetheart Look
Spring is just around the corner and we felt totally in the mood to rock a colorful, pretty look! Today, we are going to show you how to get this Spring Sweetheart look - it's great for walks in the park, shopping with friends or a spring date with a loved one!
To start we are applying Revlons photoready Perfecting primer all over the face with our fingers. This will ensure our makeup has a smooth canvas and lasts all day long. We are then applying some MUA Skin define Matte Perfect foundation with our Bella&Bear Lynx Kabuki brush, in a buffing, circular motion.
To cover any problem areas - like the under eyes or any blemishes - we are using some Maybelline Erase Eye Concealer and blending in with our Bella&Bear Golden Cat small concealer brush.
We have decided not to apply powder for this look, as we want it to be dewy and fresh, but you could apply powder if you prefer!
Lets start work on the eyes. We are applying a small amount of Benefits Stay Don't Stray eyelid primer all over the lids with our ring finger.
We are then working some Maybelline 24hr Color Tattoo Creamy Matte Eyeshadow in 'Creme De Rose' over the eyelid and up to the crease with our Bella&Bear Iromote brush. You could use any dusty pink shade but just make sure that it is a matte shadow.
To follow this, we are working a shimmer purple shadow into the outer corner of the eye and along the crease with our Bella&Bear Leopard Cat pencil brush. We are using the ChiChi Spices palette for this.
Next we are taking the same Bella&Bear Iromote brush and a golden shimmer shadow and pressing it all over the lid and into the inner corner of the eye. Again, we are using the Chi Chi Spices palette for this.
Lets take our Bella &Bear Pampas Cat brush and gently blend everything together for a seamless and soft finish.
For some eye definition, add some black liner along the top lashline and gently wing it out. We used the Maybelline 24hr Color Tattoo Eyeshdaow in 'Timeless Black' and our Bella&Bear Caracal brush to achieve this.
For some extra va-va-voom, lets curl the lashes for some lift! Use your Bella&Bear Eye & Mighty Curlers for the ultimate curled and fanned out effect!
After applying a swipe of mascara, we used our Bella&Bear angled tweezers to apply some falsies as close to our lashline as possible. We decided to use the Revlon Define D103 lashes for this as they give a very natural finish and a your-lashes-but-better appearance.
To really frame the eyes, we are going to do some brow work! Start by brushing through and shaping the brows with the spoolie end of your Bella&Bear Iberian lynx duo brow brush. You can then fill in and define the brows with the angled brush end. We are using Freedom Makeup brow pomade to do this.
Lets add some structure to the face. Take your Bella&Bear The Leopard Face brush and some light contour powder or bronzer (we are using the ELF Studio Bronzer Quad) and gently start to contour below the cheekbones and the temples. You can also contour the sides of the nose if you want an extra structured look.
To bring some color back to the face, lets apply a dusty pink shimmer blush - like 'Rose Garden' by NYX - with our Bella&Bear cheetah duo fiber powder brush, to just the apples of the cheeks.
We want this look to be feminine and dainty so lets add a small amount of highlight to the face. We are taking our Bella & Bear Jungle Cat brush and a golden highlight, we used ELF Illuminating Quad, and gently brushing it down the center of our nose, under the brow bones, along the cheekbones and on the cupids bow.
To really pull the look together lets finish with a statement lip. We are using Bourjois Rouge Edition Lip Velvet in 'Nude-ist' and applying it with our Bella&Bear 'Rusty Spotted Cat' lip brush. We have decided to give a rounded look to our lips but you can follow the natural lip line if you prefer!
That's it! We just let our wild hair down and added in this beautiful Flower Crown by Prairie Charms! This look is so simple but very cute and just perfect for spring time!
We hope you enjoyed this look - don't forget you can find all the Bella&Bear tools listed in this tutorial in our store! And please tag us with your recreations on Insta (@bella_andbear)!
