Cute cherub Look

You may have seen our classic red lip Valentines look earlier this week ... but how about something for those who would like to go a little 'extra' this holiday?! Today we are showing you how to get this adorable cherub inspired look with sparkly eyes, dainty freckles and a chubby pout!

Lets start with our brows for this look. We are first going through them using the spoolie end of our Bella and Bear Eyebrow Spoolie brush to lightly shape the brows and tame the hair.

Now, using the brush end we are going to work some brow powder or eyeshadow though, defining the shape further and filling in any sparse areas.

We then go over the brows with a little clear eyebrow gel to lock them in place.

Taking our concealer brush and some Essence Camouflage concealer now, we are going to carve out the brows - outlining them with the product and then pulling it outward to blend into our foundation later.

Lets think about the eyes now, we start with a primer to lock our colours in place and make them extra vibrant. We're using the Elizabeth Mott Eyeshadow primer here.

Now, taking an eyeshadow brush and a matte ivory shadow we are sweeping it over the lid and up to the brow bone.

Now, with a matte dusty pink blush - we're using the Essence Mosiac blush here, and we are working it onto the outer and inner corners of the eyes, leaving the centre of the lid blank.

Picking up our concealer brush again, and that same concealer, we are going to press it onto the blank area of the lid.

Next, we are going to spritz it with some Urban Decay All nighter setting spray, and then use it to pick up some golden shadow and pack it on top of the concealer. You can spritz over the eye to lock that in place if you'd like! We're using a pinky peach shade from the Everfavor Palette here.

Now, using a liner brush and some Limecrime Classical we are going to draw a wing along the upper lash line.

We then take our eyelash curlers and we curl those lashes for some lift, keeping the tool on each eye for 20-30 seconds. We lock that curl in with a coat of the Too Faced Better than Sex mascara - keeping the bottom lashes bare for now.

To take things up a notch we are going to apply a set of super wispy falsies. We use our tweezers to place some false lashes as close to the natural lash line as possible for an undetectable finish.

Its time to work on the skin now - we want it glowing and flawless. But, we have to start with a primer to mask those pores and make our base smooth. Were using our fingers to work some primer all over the face.

Now, we are going to go in with a full coverage foundation. We love the Toofaced born this way foundation and we are mixing it with a few drops of the Bodyshop Drops of Light highlight before applying it to the skin.

Next, we are going to conceal - to hide any problem areas. Taking a concealer brush and some more Essence Concealer we are going to begin to disguise dark circles and blemishes.

We want to keep the skin dewy for this look, but we must still set our concealer to prevent it from creasing and sliding. So, we take a fluffy brush and some Laura Mercier Translucent powder and we press it over the areas we concealed. If you prefer a matte finish or have a particularly oily skin then you can dust the whole face with setting powder.

Lets go over with a spritz of the Urban Decay Setting Spray in a 'X' shape over the face, followed by a 'T' shape. This will lock that base in place!

Now, lets pick up our fluffy brush and some Hoola matte bronzer, and we are working that along the cheekbones, the temples and the hairline for some light structure on the face.

To follow, we take a face brush  and a matte pink blush and we are swirling it onto the apples of the cheeks for a cute rosy glow!

Now, we use a fine eyeliner brush and some more of that Lime Crime Classical and we are going to create some lovely Faux Freckles across the cheeks and nose! Try to do different size freckles for a more lifelike look.

To set those freckles and give a softer finish we gently dust over them with a little more of that translucent powder.

Then, we are using a shadow brush to apply some more of that pink blush along the lower lash line, followed by a coat of mascara on those bottom lashes!

We also decided to add a little glitter to the cheekbones to make this look extra cute! We spritzed our blush brush with some more setting spray and then used it to lightly dust some champagne glitter over the cheekbones!

Lets work on the lips now. We start by outlining them with some liner - over lining slightly for a precious pout.

Then we use a lip brush and some more of that Lime Crime and we paint the lips. Our brush ensures and even coat of product and precise lines!

Finally, we are going to take our powder brush and a pink highlight - we love the Erinde Liquide Highlight in Pink - and we are generously dusting it over the high cheekbones, down the centre of the nose, on the cupids bow. We also use our finger tips to dot some on the inner corner of the eye.

For our hair, we use a detangler and we brush through the hair for smooth, knot-free locks. We then pull the hair into 2 braids and pin it to the back of the head as flat as possible.

Finally, we pull on our pretty auburn wig to really finish the look off!
