Madame Frankenstein Look
Is there anyone more Halloween glam than Frankensteins madame? We dont think so! Thats why today, we're showing you how to get this adorably ghoulish look! Its perfect for those spooky parties ... or even for answering your door to trick or treaters!
After applying some Gerard Cosmetics BB+ Illumantion creme all over the face we are going to apply our base. We are dripping some Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation onto the edge of a plate and mixing in some Snazaroo white face paint for a ghoulish complexion, we then blend this over the face using our Bella&Bear Jaguar angled kabuki!
Next, we are setting this in place by dusting some Essence All about Matte translucent powder over the entire face using our Bella&Bear Tiger powder brush.
We lock this in place with a generous spritz of the Revolution Oil Control Fixing spray.
Let's work on those eyes now. First we work some TooFaced Shadow insurance primer over the lids using our ring finger.
Then we are using our Bella&Bear jaguarundy brush to apply a light purple shadow over the lid and up to the crease of the eye. We are using the Revolution Mermaids Vs unicorn palette for these shadows.
After, we take our Bella&Bear Bornean Bay cat brush and use it to apply a darker purple shadow (from the same palette) to the outer corner of the eye and along the lower lashline.
Now lets define the eyes with a sweep of liner. Taking our Bella&Bear Serval angled liner brush and some Essence liner cushion we are drawing in a wing along the upper lashline.
To follow, we add a coat of the TooFaced better than sex mascara and then go in with some falsies! We use our Bella&Bear Angled tweezers to place some GWA Wonder lashes as close to the natural lash line as possible for an undetectable finish.
We then took our Bella&Bear Caracal liner and used it to add in some 'extra' bottom lashes and to fill in our brows. We went with a sharp, angular shape to keep with that creature vibe.
Lets go back to that skin. Frank is known for his green tone so we are going to mimic that. Taking our Bella&Bear Marbled Cat brush we are using a matte green shadow from the BH Cosmetics Take me Back to Brazil palette and we are brushing it over the areas of the face which we would usually contour - the cheekbones, temples, hairline, jawline, sides of the nose and also the hollows of the neck.
Next, we took our Bella&Bear Margay cat brush and a shimmer green (from that same Reviolution palette) and we used it to highlight the skin; the browbones, the tip of the nose, the high points of the cheeks and the inner corners of the eyes.
For our lips we want a serious pout so we are starting by lining them using some Essence lipliner in soft berry - we are over-lining the lips to make them appear larger.
Then, we take our Bella&Bear Rusty Spotted Cat lipbrush and we use it to paint the lips with some Ted Baker Lipstick, this stick has a glossy finish but you could use a matte product if you prefer.
Of course madame frankenstein will need some killer stitching. We used our Bella&Bear caracal brush and some black snazaroo facepaint (you could also use eyeliner) to create some stitch lines.
We then extended some of the lines to create the outline of an 'open' area.
We filled in these open areas with some Limecrime velvetine in Wicked using our Bella&Bear Rusty Spotted Cat Lip Brush!
Lets add stitches to those lines, again using our Bella&Bear caracal brush we are adding some '|' and 'X' shapes along those lines and putting dots on the ends for stitch marks.
We then rinsed off our brush and went over random parts of the design with some white snazaroo facepaint to make it appear a little more 3D.
As a final touch, we added in a spiral contact lens to one eye and we popped on our silver wig for that trademark frankenstein hair - we backcombed the wig using our Bella&Bear The Bear paddle brush for a wilder look!
