Katy Perry drops new Mermaid collection with Covergirl
Mega babe Katy Perry isnt exactly new to the beauty scene. She pretty much introduced us to the pastel hair trend that has now sweeped Instagram, shes got more costumes than a Hollywood hit movie and she's previously collabed with Covergirl Cosmetics for her debut collection; 'Katy Kat' but now shes back with an updated version perfect for Spring '17 and celebrating our love of all things mermaid, the 'Pearl Collection'.
Katy dropped news of the new collection at this years Grammy's, sending out a preview image to her followers and sending fans into meltdown.
The collection is set to include four new eyeliners - 2 which you can buy this Spring, a shimmer green shade aptly named 'purrmaid', and a silver shade named 'whispurr', and 2 more to be released in Summer - four pearl lipsticks; 'Bluetiful Kitty','Purrty in Pink','Redy to pounce' and 'Apricat' as well as two brand new shadow-highlighter duos in 'Tiger Rose' and 'Tigers Eye'. You can buy some of the pieces in Katy's Essentials Walgreens store now, as well as through Covergirl.com with all pieces retailing at under $10.
The new Katy Kat Eyeliner is a double-ended pencil with a longwear liquid pencil formula on one end and a smudger tip on the other end. As mentioned, you can pick up the silver and green shades right now, but the matte black and glitter black are due to launch this summer.
The new shades of lipstick are shea-butter-infused to moisturise and give a super-pigmented payoff so you can rock it all day without drying out the lips.
Mildy reminiscent of the KYLIE Cosmetics Birthday edition shadows, the Katy Kat Shadow&Highlight comes in 2 shades; 'Tigers Eye' (a champagne hue) or 'Tiger Rose' (a rose gold hue). The product can be applied to cheekbones, brow bones, cupids bow or eyelid - anywhere you want to add a darling pearl highlight to.
