Mulled wine makeup look
Deep berry tones arent just for Autumn, you know! Christmas is filled with beautoiful, rich colour - one of those being mulled wine! Todays look is super festive and inspired by that deep mulberry colour.
Lets start with our brows here - brushing through them using the spoolie end of our Bella&Bear Iberian Lynx brow brush!
Now, we are taking some ABH Dipbrow pomade on the brush end of our Iberian Lynx and we are working it through the brows, defining the shape and filling in any sparser areas.
You can brush back through with the spoolie to soften the look and disperse extra product.
Lets carve out the brows now. Using our Bella&Bear Golden Cat concealer brush and some Urban Decay Naked skin concealer we are outlining the brows, pulling the product outward so we can blend it into our foundation later.
We are going to work on the eyes now. Starting with some primer, of course, to lock in those shadows and make the colours extra vibrant. We work some Benefit Stay Dont Stray over the lid using our ring finger.
Now we are taking a mulberry shadow - we love Aphordite from the BH Cosmetics Galaxy Chic - and we are working it onto the inner corner and outer outer corners of the eye using our Bella&Bear Bornean Bay Cat brush. we are leaving the centre of the lid blank
Lets work on that now. We are taking our Bella&Bear Sand Cat brush and using it to press some Wet'N'Wild metallic shadow in shells and whistles onto the centre of the lid.
Lets line the eyes now too for some shape and definition. Using our Bella&Bear Caracal liner brush and some Elf cream liner we are drawing a long, thin wing along the upper lash line.
Now, we are going to curl our lashes using our Bella&Bear Eye and Mighty curler, holding for 20-30 seconds on each eye for lift! We lock that curl in with a coat of the They're real mascara by Benefit.
To add to that we are going to put on a pair of falsies. We're choosing some soft lashes and we place them as close to the natural lash line as possible using our Bella&Bear Angled tweezers. The falsies we have used here are Ardell Demi Wispies.
Lets work on our skin now. Going in with some Bodyshop Instablur primer first to even out the skin and mask any larger pores.
Now, we are going to add our base. We're mixing a little Estee Lauder Double wear with a few drops of the Bodyshop Drops of Gold luminiser. We are buffing it over the skin using our Bella&Bear Jaguar angled kabuki.
To disguise any problem areas we are going to conceal now. Taking some Essence camouflage concealer and our Bella&Bear Ocelot concealer brush and we are going to cover any dark circles or blemishes.
Lets set that now. We are going to keep our base dewy but it is still important to set our concealer to prevent it from creasing or sliding. We press some Laura Mercier translucent powder onto our concealer using our Bella&Bear Margay cat brush.
Finally, we spritz our fave with some Urban Decay All Nighter to lock that base in place.
Going back to the eyes now, we are simply picking up our Bella&Bear Marbled cat brush and some more of that Aphrodite shadow, we are just working it along the lower lash line to balance out the colours on the eyes. We are also adding a coat of mascara to the lower lashes.
Lets add some colour to the face now. We're using our Bella&Bear bobcat brush and some Hoola Bronzer by Benefit and we are working it onto the hollows of the cheeks, the temples and the hairline.
Finally we need to darken those lips for a fullon dramatic look! We start by lining them with Wine Lips Lipliner by Essence and we then use our Bella&Bear Rusty Spotted Cat Lip Brush to paint the lips with some Cherry Cordial Lipstick by Gerard Cosmetics.
Now, lets add a llittle highlight to make the skin glow! We are using our Bella&Bear Margay cat brush to dust some Revolution IHeartBlush in Iced Heart over the high points of the cheeks, down the centre of the nose and on the brow bones!
Lets work on the hair too. We start by brushing it all through using our Bella&Bear Brush on You detangler to rid it of knots and make it sleek and smooth. We then loosely curl the bottom two thirds of hair for a little volume!
You're ready to go, looking festive and fabulous! We hope you love this look as much as we do - don't forget to tag us in your #bellaandbearbabes selfies over on Insta for a chance to be featured on our grid!
